My family and I stayed at two sites from August 11th to 13th. We stayed here quite some time ago, but it's a campsite I love because it's surrounded by trees and full of nature. We came from the scorching heat of Nagoya, but the temperature was about 5 or 6 degrees lower, so it was cool in the shade and very pleasant. There is a water source, toilets, and the bare minimum, and although it has a wild feel to it, this is actually what makes it so charming. There was an accident where the water pump broke and no water came out, but I am truly grateful for the sincere response from the staff. The autumn feel is also lovely, so we will continue to use it in the future. Thank you very much.

We stayed at Lake Hokonoko Auto Campsite from August 12th to 13th. We had stayed here before, and as it is one of the few campsites that allows open fires, we stayed here again this time. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they were flexible in helping us out when we didn't understand something or had a problem. The site was surrounded by nature, and we were able to experience the charm of the mountains in a way that we can't experience in our everyday lives. We would like to stay here again next year.

They were very kind and polite when I made an inquiry on the web before booking. However, it seems that there is a slight time lag in communication, so I recommend making inquiries early. C13 was a large enough site that I was able to set up two solo tents. I didn't set up a tarp because it was in the shade of a tree, but I think there was enough space to set one up. The water area was simple, just water (normal), and the men's toilet was cleaned properly, but it was a Japanese-style toilet. It was a little far away, so that was disappointing. It was August 11th, so it didn't drop below 26°C at night at home, but it felt like it dropped to about 20°C at night, and I was able to sleep comfortably. It might be a good idea to bring long sleeves. It is probably advisable to take measures against the cold throughout the year, such as putting a mat under your sleeping bag.

The staff at the reception were also very helpful. We had made a mistake with the site, but after we'd finished setting up, we realized and asked about it, and they were happy to change the site. We were able to buy firewood cheaply, and we really enjoyed the bonfire. Next time, we'd like to stay longer and for a few nights. Thank you.

We stayed at Site C for two nights as two adults. The shade and size were good. It was nice to hear the sound of the river after it rained the day before, but it was disappointing that it was almost silent when it didn't rain. On both nights, there were people staying for one night who were talking late into the night, which made their voices even more annoying. The manager was very nice.

It feels like a site where sunlight filters through the trees. I used site D in early May. It was hot, almost 30 degrees in my hometown, but it was a little chilly here, so I didn't need a tent during the day. There was a stream flowing right next to me, which was very relaxing. I also took a bath at Ena Sanso. It was small, but the view was good and it felt good. I'd like to go again.

Thank you for your unexpected kindness. It was quiet and I enjoyed solo camping. I would like to go again.

The sites are a little small, but I like how the whole campsite makes use of nature. The bath at the mountain lodge with a view of Mt. Ena is also great!

I stayed at Auto Camp C-9 for two nights. I was able to spend a relaxing time listening to the birds singing and the woodpeckers drumming, and it was great to encounter a Japanese serow! However, the difference in level between the logs separating the parking spaces was quite large, and although it wasn't a problem for my 4WD, there was a risk of getting stuck if I had been in a 2WD. I'm sure maintenance will be difficult, but thank you for your help.
