This is my first post, but I’ve been staying here almost every year for over 10 years. The staff are always wonderful—they’ll say “Thank you for cleaning up this morning” and, if the timing works out, see me off at checkout with a “See you next time.” Check-in is always smooth, and the facilities are excellent. They’ve even recently started allowing campfires. This is a cottage I hope to keep visiting for many years to come.

I love the location, facilities, and amenities (especially the wood-burning stove) at Koshizawa Cottage, and I always have a wonderful time there enjoying music, drinks, snacks, and practicing my instruments—it’s truly a relaxing experience. The staff’s warm hospitality and friendly service always leave me feeling very satisfied when I head home. I definitely look forward to staying there again.

We stayed here with four adults and four children. The location was excellent. It was really pleasant to take leisurely walks along the river in both the evening and the morning. The supermarket is a bit far away (20 to 30 minutes by car), so I think it’s a good idea to stock up on groceries before you go! The bathroom was a bit dated (with some mold), but it was perfectly fine to use. I thought there might be more bugs in the room, but we didn’t see a single one. I would’ve been even happier if they sold fireworks at the management office! The nearby supermarket didn’t sell fireworks. Maybe because it was September? We were able to have a relaxing and enjoyable time! The breakfast we’d reserved at the roadside station was about a 10-minute drive away. Both the Western and Japanese dishes were delicious, and the view was great. It was a bit disappointing, though, that for the Western-style breakfast, while everyone else was allowed to choose between a hard-boiled egg and scrambled eggs, we—perhaps because we had a lot of noisy kids—weren’t given that option. It was a wonderful trip to Ena.

The room was nice, but with just a table and a bench, I couldn't really relax and rest comfortably. It would have been nice to have chairs with backrests or a sofa.

We stayed here as a group of six: my two children, my husband, and my parents. This marks our third consecutive year staying for two nights and three days. Both the cottage and the deck are spacious, and with the river and play facilities right in front of us, the kids have a blast every year. While it was great that the play facilities were so well-equipped, it was also a bit of a problem that people who clearly weren’t staying in the cottages were coming into the cottage area. A child came running in while swinging a wooden stick, with his father simply following behind, smoking a cigarette, so I was a bit nervous that the stick might hit our car. We’re very satisfied with the facility itself, but I think if they could put up a few more signs in the areas restricted to cottage guests, we’d be able to enjoy our stay with even greater peace of mind in the future.

Every year, we enjoy BBQs and stays in a beautiful, pleasant environment, and we’re so grateful for your hospitality. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

There were two centipedes in the closet in Building 5. I was so worried I couldn't sleep. I got rid of one of them. The refrigerator wasn't cooling properly, and the timer on the rice cooker was broken.

Friendly and very good guidance when checking in. The Kamimura River flowing in front of us was very beautiful and refreshing in the morning.
