  • 江戸時代の寛永年間、初代市川左右衛門が旅籠屋「角屋」を創業。 中山道大井宿に存在した41軒の旅籠屋で唯一、今もお客さまをお迎えしています。

Long-established kaiseki restaurant in Ena City, Gifu Prefecture. For business entertainment and hospitality. High-grade kaiseki lunch boxes, catered lunches, and take-out are also available.

Oi is the 46th inn stop on the Nakasendo Road. Oi used to be the busiest of all the nearby inns, with many travelers coming and going. In the Kan'ei Era, Saemon Ichikawa, the founder of the Ichikawa family, started the inn "Kakunoya" in this area, and it has been 400 years since then. In the first year of Meiji Era, the name of the inn was changed to "Ryokan Ichikawa" and we have been serving our guests with the atmosphere of an inn and the spirit of Japan as it is.
