I stayed at A6-AC, but the sites were so close together that it felt like a group camping trip. It’s a good idea to bring a tarp or something similar to create some privacy. The wash areas and restrooms were kept clean.

We used site A in the woods. The women's restroom did not seem to be that bad, but the smell in the men's restroom was a strong stench. The ammonia smell was to the point where we could not breathe. Other than that, there were no problems, so if they could improve it, it would be one of the top campgrounds I would repeat again and again.

We used the Lake Hohoko campground and the toilets are hopelessly dirty. There was a lot of dead insects in there and it was disgusting.

The whole facility was clean and in a very nice location. I would definitely like to use it again next time. There was one spot where Wi-Fi was supposed to be available, but for some reason it didn't connect, which was a bit disappointing. I hope they improve that.

This time, we pitched our tent at a wooded campsite at Hoko Lake Campground. (We were able to park our car right next to the site.) Under the shade of the trees, we were able to stay cool even in the midsummer sun. We were hit by a torrential downpour in the middle of the night, but thanks to the good drainage, the site didn’t flood and we were able to sleep soundly. The wash areas and restrooms (equipped with bidets) were clean and well-maintained, making them a pleasure to use. We went to the Ena Sanso bathhouse, but since there was a steep hill, we decided it would be a bit too difficult to walk, so we drove there instead.
Thank you very much for staying with us. We’re so glad you were able to stay cool in the shade of the trees at our wooded campsite, even in the height of summer. We were relieved to hear that you were able to stay dry and comfortable despite the heavy rain in the middle of the night. Thank you also for your kind words about the wash areas and restrooms. We’re delighted that you found them pleasant to use. Since there is a slight incline leading to the baths at Ena Sanso, we recommend traveling by car for your convenience. We hope you’ll visit again in a different season to enjoy a relaxing time surrounded by nature. The entire staff sincerely looks forward to welcoming you back.
